Welcome to Sim's Doll Fashion, my online shop where you will find hand crocheted clothes for Barbie / Sindy / Bratz / baby Holly dolls.
My name is Simona and I originally come from Czech Republic. I was born in Prague but after many years I found my second home in England and now live with my partner Alex and our two Jack Russell Terriers in a lovely small town in Surrey.
History / Background
My hobby of designing and making doll clothes really started in my childhood. My mum and grandma taught me how to knit, crochet and sew and as a young girl I had hours of endless fun. Then I stopped playing with dolls and became an adult although I always hoped that one day I will be making clothes for my daughter's dolls. Sadly, my partner Alex and I have no children.
Some time ago a friend of mine came to me for help with her charity venture and I happily agreed to make a large amount of doll clothes for her to be sent to an orphanage in Romania. After that with the enthusiastic encouragement from my family and friends, I decided to turn my new found hobby into a small business. If I cannot have a little girl of my own, I thought it would be won derful if I could make someone else's little girl happy.

More about my hand crafted crochet doll clothes
My handmade crochet clothes will fit standard 11 inch (28 cm) tall Barbie dolls. If these clothes are intended for a Sindy doll, please let me know and I make them slightly bigger (I have one in my possession to make sure the clothes fit properly) as there is a very slight difference in size.
My handmade crochet clothes will also fit soft bean filled baby Holly dolls from Dolls World. These dolls measure 8 inch (20 cm).
My handmade crochet clothes will also fit the standard sized Bratz Doll.
Items are sold individually, so clothes can be mixed and matched to individual taste of each buyer. That way a whole outfit can be created.
Items that I have not got in stock can be easily recreated but pleas do allow enough time for me to make them, as some (especially the evening dresses and more elaborate outfits) items can take up to 3 or 4 evenings to make.
Items are made from Circulo Clea 100% mercerised soft cotton (Ne 8/2) crochet yarn. Clothes can be hand washed only (yarn label recommendation) and can be ironed.
All garments are exclusively designed and lovingly crafted by my own 2 hands and I are finished, I believe, to a high standard. I greatly enjoy making these small clothes and I take pride in my creations. This small home business is created with a lot of love and hard work.
