It is recommended that you use both characters and numbers because this will make it much harder for people to guess your login name and password.
You must remember your login name because without it we will not reset your password.
Your login name does not have to be similar to your shop name. It is better to have a shop name and login name that are not related because people will already know your shop name and you do not want people to be able to guess your username from your shop name.
