Displaying Product Price and Reviews on Google
We take SEO very seriously, there is no point having an online shop if no one is going to find it, and a very important but very over looked part of SEO is making sure your shop stands out on the Google Search Results page.

There are two very important areas of information that should be sent to Google if you are selling products: product review information and product information.

Displaying the Product Price on Google
As well as making your listing stand out, sending Google product information like price and stock levels allow customers to make a snap decision about if your product is what they were looking for, this means that customers that click on the link from search engines are a higher quality of customer than shop providers that don't send this information.
We also send information about Image, colour, brand, promotions, currency, condition, the shop and much more. If Google feels that any of this information is important to the searcher Google will display that information.
Displaying a Rating on Google
Once a customer has found your shop building trust is the next most important thing to do. Displaying reviews up front not only highlights your search engine listing with a bright yellow star count but also instantly establishes confidence.
Displaying all ratings and Reviews on Google
Not only do we send information about your products to Google, but we also highlight every review on your shop. This is great because it is very common for customers to search "Shop X Reviews" and Google will then be very likely to link to your shop as the top hit and also display an overview straight away.

I have only mentioned Google so far but that is only because Google is the most widely used Search Engine in the UK, however Yahoo, Bing and many other search engines use this information as well.
The type of information that can be displayed is maintained by data-vocabulary.org and you can find some more information on Micro Data and Rich Snippets on our blog.
