How do I get my GroovyCart online shop found on Google?
GroovyCart online shops are built from the ground up with SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) in mind. This is one of our top priorities, before we do anything on the site we think about how it will affect the rankings on all of the main search engines.
A lot of time and care has been spent on where we locate text on a page and the size of the text to make sure that not only search engines scan the page efficiently, but it is also easy to read and navigate.
The location of items on a page is of great importance to Google, it is also important to your customers! We have designed your shop so that everything is where your customer expects to find it, when the page loads the first messages your customers see are the most important ones.

We send Google a very thorough XML site map detailing all the pages they need to scan, the relevance of the page and how often it changes.
Google also scans for new shops every hour making sure every shop with us is found as quickly as possible!

Does this mean that I don't actually have to do anything to get my GroovyCart shop found on Google?
No! We have done everything we possibly can to get your shop to the top of search engine searches, now it's your turn!
We have written a simple guide that you will find on our 'help file' it is tailored to GroovyCart shops to help them get the best ranking possible, to understand what search engines look for, and most importantly to help make sure you don't make little mistakes that may affect the ranking of your products.
What about Yahoo and Bing?

We get excellent page ranking on both Yahoo and Bing, these search engines are much smaller than Google and are often overlooked, however we understand that getting a good ranking on the smaller search engines has a possitive impact on your shop's performance.
We have spent a lot of time making sure that our shops come up high on AOL, Ask, Altavista searches as well as many others! Most of these search engines scan us every day looking for new products and new shops. We regularly make enhancements to improve our ranking.
